Everywhere you turn beauty products attempt to draw you in with a variety of claims. With so many options it can be difficult to know which is right for you. Through trial and error, I’ve found some products that work for me and some others that don’t. The Ilia trueskin foundation promises a weightless radiance that provides a smooth, even texture. After testing out some new makeup, I broke this video into two parts. Before creating the dramatic look in my green eye video, I experimented with a couple of other products. The Ilia foundation resulted in disappointment. Though a relatively successful brand, this foundation failed my skin. Its light texture had trouble drying without flakes or unevenness. After completing the look, the finished product can only be described in one word. Fail! Though the Ilia foundation combined with the other products didn’t work so well it gave me the opportunity to try out something new.
