My Visit Inside The Las Vegas Sphere & Luxurious Las Vegas Delano!

What makes this Sphere so remarkable? Constructed over five years, it eluded my attention until recently, and maybe yours as well. It debuted on September 29, 2023, featuring U2, and holds the title of the largest spherical structure in the world. Moreover, it’s Las Vegas’ priciest venue, valued at $2.3 billion, surpassing the $1.9 billion Allegiant Stadium.

Its incredible size required one of the largest cranes from Belgium to hoist the steel framework, supporting an incredible 14K LED system, both internally and externally. I didn’t even know we could film in 14K, let alone actually watch the footage on 14K displays. I wanted to see this with my own eyes, so we ditched the kids over a three-day weekend and checked it out.

We stayed at the Delano in Las Vegas. It is a part of the Mandalay Bay Complex. This is also where the Four Seasons is located. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this facility was. Our rooms were spacious and modern, and with a price tag under $200 per night, was a great place to stay. I would take my family back to the Delano!

THE SUITE:

The only downfall , at least for me , NO ROBES IN THE ROOM. So I will bring my own next time.
