It’s session 5 of the microneedling series! For those of you who haven’t watched my previous videos make sure to catch up here (Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, and Session 4). Hopefully, by now you know the purpose of microneedling and a little bit about how it works. This procedure uses tiny needles to damage and disrupt the skin. This causes the brain to send signals to your affected skin cells. From there the skin cells increase the production of collagen and elastin, revamping your skin and improving tone and texture. Since skin is open from the procedure, it’s the perfect time to utilize serums. By allowing the serum to enter directly into deeper layers of your skin, it becomes more effective.
After talking to a subscriber, I decided to try something that not everyone agrees with. Instead of washing my face directly after treatment, I left the blood on. Hang on a second, how does that work? Because of its anti-bacterial properties, utilizing our blood can actually be incredibly effective. Similar to PRP and Vampire Facials, the blood protects my skin and injured cells. If you’re still skeptical or just intrigued at this point, make sure to keep watching my microneedling series!
