What do I plan to buy during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
Updated below on what I actually was able to buy on Fri 7/16!Below you will find all the items on my wish list for fall 2021. Some included I already have and when I saw them on Sale I knew they were a great pick.
CLARIFICATION
I don’t plan to buy everything on my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale wishlist, so please don’t come for me; we all have personal budgets and reasons for why we buy what we buy.
Below are the items that jumped out to me for women during the current sale preview. I have early access on July 16th to shop because of my Nordstrom status. On that day I will make my final decisions and once everything arrives I will do a Live try-on session on Youtube.
A few items below are very similar, like bags and shoes. I included duplicates in the event an item sells out as this tends to happen.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dates
- July 12: Early Access for cardmembers with Icon status.
- July 14: Early Access for cardmembers with Ambassador status.
- July 16: Early Access for cardmembers with Influencer status.
- July 28: Anniversary Sale opens to the general public.
What are the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access tiers?
Early Access is a special perk reserved for Nordstrom card members. Your Nordy Club level is based on yearly spend amounts, though all card members automatically start at Influencer status. Only Nordstrom cardmembers can access and shop the sale early.
I have an original Nordstrom Card from ages ago when they allowed linking to your bank account, essentially using your debit card and amassing points without any fees. This option is no longer available and every year I’m afraid they will cancel my special card. Because of my old school card and my “Influencer” status, I get to shop on July 16th.
I’ve bolded the items under each photo that are my most wanted items. I have many of these sunglasses and bags which is why I included them in the mix.

The paisley dress for me embodies fall. I love the colors, length, and that it has a mock neck. This will look great with boots, tights, and flats.
These high waist jeans with a tie also have a super cute pocket detail.
The ’70s have returned in this great faux leather long jacket, that will most likely become my favorite layering piece.
I really need a new pair of flat boots, and these booties seem to be perfect.

HIGHLIGHTS
Mock necks have always been one of my favorite types of collars.
This light grey textured sweater will be great with jeans.
The white blouse has a cute balloon sleeve which is nice for covering arms and helping transition from summer to fall.
Mustard is one of my all-time favorite colors to wear and buy. This mustard dress is no exception and looks like it will flatter most figures plus it has a nice length.
I’ve never purchased white boots before, and I’m not sure if they are my thing but I thought I would test this bootie out and see if I am a white bootie kind of girl, TBD.

HIGHLIGHTS
I love being able to dress up any outfit in an instant. The Veronica Beard blazer will allow me to do just that with its beautiful tailoring and effortlessly chic look.
For me it is the one investment piece I will wear year after year and the Nordstrom sale makes it that much easier for me to purchase. I have dreamed of owning a VB blazer for a long time, along with its coordinating zip-in dickie I get more layering options plus the dickie dresses down this blazer which could be considered a more stuffy piece.
I think it’s not only fun when designers mix mediums in a dress, but it’s also a quick and easy way to look put together and interesting with a single piece. The camel dress is a sweater top, which is very forgiving in the chest and arm area since it’s a knit. Below it has a woven flowy skirt to benefit those who may have wider hips and it has a midi length if you don’t like showing your legs.
Because I work on Youtube filming my face nearly every day, having cool earrings is now something I shop for in particular. This earring set is actually 2 pairs, the organic pattern crystal set, and the bow set. I wanted the bow earrings and the extra “ice” was just a bonus.
I realize a bodycon sheath dress is not everyone’s favorite silhouette as it can show more than we may feel comfortable sharing. First, it’s important with these dresses to have good undergarments. Spanx can do wonders! Even though I am on the thinner side, I will use Spanx under a dress like this to ensure I feel “tight and right!” The last thing I want to do is be introduced to a roll on my body publicly:)
I cleaned out my closet this past spring. I purged many of my old tall boots with the plan to purchase new tall boots this fall. I’m excited to try these boots because they are flat, look comfortable, and this color will work great with the other items I’m purchasing.
When it comes to finding something in your closet in a pinch I feel it’s necessary to have staple neutrals that you can always grab and count on all year round.

Throughout the year, dresses are a core part of my wardrobe.
I like to find ways of injecting feminity into my week no matter the season (not just on Sundays).
There’s something about jewel tones in fall that make dresses even more wearable. The ability to layer dresses, with tights, boots, and cardigans can keep you warm as the cool crisp mornings of fall approach. Plus the color and texture of layering look so lovely, especially when you add some jewelry on top.
Give me boots and a dress any time of the year but especially in the fall.
The floral dress is perfect for all seasons and the cut will be flattering on any figure.

When fall pieces can easily transition into winter pieces this gives you more wear time and makes the cost per wear even more affordable. Thinking of ways to use pieces throughout the year helps me decide on which items to add to my wardrobe.
Besides not wanting to overspend, I also think about space in my closet. Many of us can relate to not having enough closet space as it’s the most coveted square footage in our homes. Because of limited space, I only want items in my closet I am wearing, loving, and truly using.
Ask yourself, “How can I use this during other seasons and how can I use this with items I already own?”
As the mercury continues to drop, the above pieces will transition perfectly from the fall to winter months. It’s another good reason to take advantage of the sale because you always need a fail-safe outfit for fun parties and gatherings.
Faux leather skinnies are a fall & winter staple and this year I’m going to add a little color to mine.
The Good American coated skinnies are perfect for festive looks. Dress them down with a white t-shirt and some knitted layers or dress them up by pairing them with a silk blouse and the faux feather vest… so much versatility. They are both undeniably a must-have for my easy dress-up / dress-down lifestyle.
As soon as I saw this faux leather dress I wanted to try it on and see if this could be one of those cool pieces I have for decades.
The raw shirt hem of this dress helps its cool factor because this is a finish used commonly with real leather not faux as the edge is raw.
I’m curious to see how it looks in person.

A favorite part of my day is when I put something on that makes me feel like I never took my pj’s off. And since I often find myself going from office to switching gears (with four boys, it happens) to run errands the above pieces make sense for moms on the go.
The Tory Burch sneakers really add a little something extra to any relaxed look. They are easy and comfortable, yet I still look presentable should I have to look decent for a meeting or filming.
When the temperature drops I will be happy to have a long cardigan sweater, this is a necessity for fall, easy to take you from chilly to warm in an instant. Maybe I have a thing for cream-colored sweaters, but this unique sweater’s texture on the bodice of this sweater made me think it could be a very special piece. And if that doesn’t work, you know me and my big tea mugs, they will be calling my name soon.
I love an easy jumpsuit and this black one looks like it will be so cute, paired with sneakers and a cardigan, or the cream-colored pullover sweater.
Everyone needs a t-shirt bodysuit. These are great because they keep your shirt tucked in. This black one, in particular, has shoulder pads to give you more lift and striking shape when casually paired with jeans, or dolled up with jewelry and paired with a pencil skirt.
, UNDERWEAR REFRESH -Keep your Shape-

I like having things simplified and that means having the right bra for the right shirt, color, and fit. Fresh new undergarments keep their shape better and assist how your body will look in clothes.
I personally like having more nude tones and bras that are no fuss with no hardware or elastic pulling or pushing in the wrong places. Pale pink is another go-to color as my skin tone is very pale. If you don’t want bras showing under white shirts, buy a nude tone that is closest to your body color.

The Bra-llelujah! bras do just what they say they are going to do, fit perfectly and smooth you out. No side fat bulging from between your arms and chest, can I get a “hallelujah”!!!
Speaking of smoothing out, you can’t miss out on picking up a pair of Spanx for those days you need a pair. With all the fall baking and sweets who can resist?!
BEST IN BEAUTY SALE
HIGHLIGHTS
This deodorant is my favorite. I buy this trio set every year during this sale. This deodorant is expensive so the only way I justify it is when it is on sale in a multipack.
Plus it’s a great way to buy and give to friends; Christmas and fall birthdays are right around the corner.
I have all of the items above. I featured them because the skincare brands are great and gift sets are the best way to try new items to see if you even want to invest in full sizes.
If you watch me on Amazon Live you know I love my RQ PMD brush. If you don’t already have one this could be the sale during which you grab yours.
This lighted mirror is great! I use it for LIVES when I’m traveling. Its light having a lightbox and tripod in one. There is a magnet in the middle of this mirror that will hold your phone in either direction; vertical or horizontal. It will even blue tooth to help you take better selfies.

Most Likely I will not keep all of the dresses. I’m a dress freak and really don’t need more dresses, but I’ve seen over the course of being online people like the dresses I wear so I wanted to show you the dresses I would pick for myself and then try them on for you so you can see how them in action.
